• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

• Floating: Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals

Job Description

DCH Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a day shift travel assignment. The RN will be responsible for circulating in procedures, ensuring quality, compassionate patient care, and maintaining professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs patient care
• Establishes positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Provides leadership and supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff
• Must be willing to float between units and hospitals as needed
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing – REQUIRED
• Minimum Experience:
• 2 years of CVOR nursing experience – REQUIRED
• Will consider 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year in specialty
• Licenses & Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) – Alabama or Compact License – REQUIRED (No temp licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS – REQUIRED
• AHA ACLS – REQUIRED (Red Cross certification now accepted)
